Hi, I am Dier (Der) and I am so happy you are here! 

I am the creator of The Three Little Hooks, previously called SMF-Blessed Crafts. Why three? Because I am a mother of three who is hooked on yarns. My firstborn is on the spectrum, nonverbal and severe. Relocating and settling down every few years is my norm - military spouse. I can say I lived many lives and in this life of mine, I finally want to make something great out of it.

Short story. I was drawn into crochet by my mother-in-law. I remember my boyfriend at that time (now husband) and I always went on yarn stops for her and she ALWAYS give us the warmest smile in return. It was such an eye opener for me how something so simple like a skein of yarn can bring so many joys to one! Fast forward, a few years later in 2016, during one of my darkest times in my early 20's, I decided to pick up on crochet, self-taught. Why crochet and not sew (my mom sews)? Crochet spoke to me. It had helped me stay in touch with reality, taught me a lot about life and patience. On top of that, (marriage tip) if my husband has a problem, he can take it up with my mother-in-law.

With life happening (small/ big wins with autism, motherhood, and marriage along with my husband's duty calls), things have become clearer to me. I want to have something of my own, to take with, to build on, to grow with, to share the many joys, and to help others stay sane either through my crafts or favorite supplies.
